About Me
I'm a Lead System Architect at CVP via International Systems Technologies, where I lead the design, development, and deployment of QMARS — a national case management system used by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to manage beneficiary complaints, Medicare appeals, and EMTALA cases across the United States.
I guide a team of developers and system architects, conduct code reviews, and establish architectural best practices across agile teams. My work directly impacts healthcare quality oversight for over 65 million Medicare beneficiaries.

QMARS — Quality Management And Review System
A national case management system administered by CMS Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ), enabling Beneficiary and Family-Centered Care (BFCC) Quality Improvement Networks (QIOs) to track medical records and perform online case review across the U.S.
The system handles Beneficiary Complaints, Hospital Issued Notices of Non-coverage (FFS), Medicare Appeals (MA), Benefits Improvement and Protection Act (BIPA), and Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) cases — ensuring efficient, secure, and well-documented healthcare quality oversight.
AWS Cloud Migration
Architected and migrated QMARS infrastructure to AWS — EC2, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, S3, and CloudFront — enhancing scalability and resilience.
API Integration Platform
Built secure REST and SOAP API integrations between Pega BPM and AWS-hosted microservices with eForms parsing for interoperability across CMS systems.
DevOps & Container Orchestration
Championed CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker for Pega components.
